Jun 02, 2008 · This weekend I put a new idle air control valve and o2 sensor in, and the symptoms still persist. Along with the erratic idle, the engine has absolutely zero power. It stumbles as if it's missing a couple of cylinders when you accelerate. It has a hard time with ANY load (even the A/C compressor). I put a new fuel pump (acdelco) and filter in it. And also rebuilt the tbi itself. Thinking it may have had a ruptured fuel pressure regulator. It was fine bit rebuilt anyways. You need to have a scanner of some sort to see the voltage and it should go from .5 to 4.5 at WOT. The voltage should look smooth with no voltage flat spots.
